Dugi Otok
Dugi Otok, the pearl of the Adriatic Sea, offers stunning pristine nature, beautiful beaches, and unique experiences. Among the island’s greatest treasures are Telašćica Nature Park and Sakarun Beach.

Telašćica Nature Park, a protected natural reserve, is located in the southern part of Dugi Otok and is one of the most significant nature reserves in Croatia. The area is characterized by a rugged coastline with high limestone cliffs that rise up to 160 meters. Inside the park, you will find the saltwater lake Mir, whose water is warmer than the surrounding sea due to its higher salinity. The park is accessible both by land and by boat, offering various hiking trails, viewpoints, and opportunities for swimming.
Sakarun Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches in Croatia, features soft white sand and turquoise waters. Located on the northwest coast of the island, it is often referred to as the “Croatian Maldives.” Thanks to its sheltered location, it is protected from strong winds, creating ideal conditions for swimming. The beach is accessible by car and boat, and nearby, there are several small bars and restaurants.

Main town Sali is a picturesque fishing village offering a typical Croatian atmosphere with narrow streets, historical buildings, and friendly locals. Here, you will find numerous restaurants, a bar, a large TOMMY grocery store, a pharmacy, and a post office.
The Kornati archipelago, consisting of more than 80 islands, islets, and reefs, is located near Dugi Otok and is one of the most significant natural areas in Croatia. This national park is known for its unique landscape, with limestone cliffs, minimal vegetation, and crystal-clear waters.
The Kornati islands are a favorite destination for sailing, diving, and snorkeling enthusiasts due to their rich marine life. While the islands are not permanently inhabited, visitors can find a few fishing huts and restaurants offering fresh seafood.
Access to the Kornati islands is only possible by boat, either private or on an organized excursion, which often includes swimming and exploring the most interesting locations within the archipelago.

Veli Rat Lighthouse is one of the tallest lighthouses on the Adriatic and is located at the northwestern tip of Dugi Otok. It was built in 1849 and serves as a navigation point for ships sailing along the Croatian coast. Around the lighthouse, there are several small beaches and coves perfect for relaxation and swimming. You can also visit the nearby village of Veli Rat. Visitors can tour the lighthouse and enjoy breathtaking views of the sea and surrounding landscapes. The area is also popular for picnics, walks, and photography excursions. We recommend visiting the lighthouse, especially at sunset.
